Blip.tv is building the next-generation television network. We work with 50,000 independently produced Web shows -- ranging from sitcoms to dramas to how-to to newsmagazines and everything in between -- and provide them the services of scale they need to be successful and sustainable. These services include workflow automation, distribution and business development, marketing and PR and advertising sales. We do not take on content risk and do not directly fund shows or take part in their production. Our job picks up once the show is and ready for distribution.
We're backed by Bain Capital Ventures and Ambient Sound Investments. Our partners include Apple, YouTube, Boxee, Sony, NBC and more. We do about 90 million video views a month, growing fast. We’ve been at it since the beginning (2005) and are well regarded members of the online video community.
