Company Profile

GroupSpaces is an Oxford-based start-up that is revolutionising the way real-world groups and communities manage themselves online.

GroupSpaces is a easy-to-use platform where you can:

  • Upload a Profile: get found on Google; attract more members; drive more traffic to your group’s website
  • Run a Mailing List: send professional-looking e-mail newsletters; manage different lists for your committee, freshers, alumni..; make it easy to subscribe/unsubscribe
  • Manage a Member Database: learn more about your members; share management between committee members; make handing over and delegating admin easy
  • Create Polls/surveys: make group decisions; gather feedback easily; run committee elections online
  • Power your Website: keep latest events up-to-date; sign up new members; archive news from your newsletters

We believe that instead of using many disconnected websites and programs to manage your group, it’s better if you can do everything one place!

GroupSpaces was founded by Oxford University students David Langer and Andy Young, and has received funding in 2008 from a syndicate of experienced Angel Investors including Avonmore Developments. The platform has been developed with input from hundreds of groups at UK universities over the last year. See about the team for more information.
