We need a passionate and driven UI/UX expert to lead product design for a new unified front-end interface. This strategic visionary must also be hands-on and capable of gathering user requirements and performing competitive analysis. Our UX Director will work side-by-side with highly motivated and skilled cross functional teams of business analysts, front-end and back-end developers and quality assurance engineers. Responsibilities: UX * - Perform requirements gathering, Web metrics analysis, user interviews and usability testing * - Create conceptual models (i.e. user mental models), wireframes, mockups, prototypes, flowcharts and site maps Leadership * - Assert your design vision while embracing healthy conflict and debate * - Mentor, motivate, inspire and share credit * - Facilitate meetings; deliver quality presentations and demonstrations * - Possess excellent written and oral communication skills * - Challenge others and ask probing questions Technology * - Understand front-end and back-end programming * - Understand principles of building digital experiences using web standards * - Champion awareness of new and emerging technologies and best practices Experience: * - Masters or Bachelors degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Human Machine/Computer Interaction, Computer Science or related experience * - 5+ years experience creating and managing high-level web properties * - 5+ years product design experience * - Agile development; scrum master experience a plus * - Proven track record of delivering first-class UIs * - Has created excellent UX deliverables (wireframes, mockups, etc.) * - Adobe Suite * - Presentation layer code (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript). * - User Experience best practices, A/B testing and user research techniques * - Familiarity with the online advertising is a plus Compensation: * - Competitive salary * - Stock options * - Health and life insurance * - Rapid career advancement and management opportunities in an exciting, fast-growing company About: adMarketplace.com is a flat organization with empowered, self-directed teams that work together constructively in a collegial, apolitical meritocracy that values honesty, commitment, accountability and results.
