Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or similar technical education
• 1+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building applications using C#, C++, or Java; strong OO design and development skills required
• Experience with system integration technologies including SOAP, REST, JSON, and XML
• Strong SQL programming skills
• Experience working with enterprise systems such as CRM (e.g., Siebel, Oracle CRM On Demand, Salesforce.com), field services, IT help desk, time & expense, data warehouses, and corporate directories (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory) is preferred
• Experience with and passion for the design and development of mobile applications using RIM BlackBerry, Apple iPhone & iPad, Google Android, and Windows devices is a plus
• Strong communication and technical writing skills, including direct customer experience

Job Description and responsibilities:

We are looking for versatile problem solvers with software engineering experience to deliver challenging customer data integration projects. Pyxis Mobile software wirelessly enables a wide range of business and consumer systems - our customers mobilize everything from CRM to market data to inventory, traffic status to local restaurants to weather, and more. Our Professional Services (PSG) team uses our software platform and Plugin SDK to mobilize these systems via secure, real-time connections. You will join our PSG team, working closely with our customers to define data requirements, solve complex authentication schemes, code required plugin features, and test real-time data integration with customer systems. You will use Visual Studio, code in C# and SQL, and leverage integration standards like REST, SOAP, and XML. You will also work closely with Engineering to specify Plugin SDK enhancements, and help advance our platform's data integration capabilities. The results of your work will be tangible, as data appears wirelessly in powerful mobile applications across iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, and Windows devices.
