O candidato ideal:

Requirements

* M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* Experience with data visualization and statistics.
* Experience with frontend web technologies including Ruby on Rails.
* Experience mapping business needs to engineering systems.
* Experience working in team environments with limited supervision.
* Knowledge of data visualization languages like Processing a plus.

Job Description and responsibilities:

About this Job Twitter is looking for new members of our technical staff to focus on analyzing and visualizing the Twitter dataset. You should have a passion for combining data and design to communicate information.

Responsibilities

* Construct elegant and informational visualizations of Twitter data.
* Work closely and iterate quickly with the analytics team as well as other product teams.
* Code using a mix of Ruby, Javascript, and SQL.
* Design and implement a data visualization API for internal and possibly external use.
* Conduct design and code reviews.
* Work with large unstructured and structured data sets.  Large multi-terabyte+, 100MM+ daily transaction volumes.
