Job Description and responsibilities:

Founded by a group of engineers and executives with years of experience in solid-state lighting and distributed networking, Digital Lumens is looking for hands-on professionals passionate about building great products and doing their part to reduce our nation's energy footprint. Our technology offers a complete solution to our customers, so we look for team members who can span disciplines, collaborate across functional boundaries, and keep pace in this explosive market.

As a Ruby on Rails Software Engineer, you will be part of a small, interdisciplinary team of engineers who are smart, driven, and enjoy getting stuff done. We build our systems around a wide spectrum of software, from embedded firmware (in assembly and C) to web interfaces (in Ruby on Rails). You should have a bias toward the web technology and user interface end of the spectrum, but a generalist’s background – we value teammates who are not one-trick ponies.

Is this role not for you? Please let us know about others that may be interested in this opportunity – you may be eligible for the DL non-employee referral reward. Digital Lumens will not accept unsolicited resumes from placement agencies or recruiters.
